Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 1, 2026
1. Who we are
TrackyLink ("we", "us") provides uptime and performance monitoring for websites, APIs and scheduled jobs. This policy explains what personal data we collect when you use trackylink.com and the TrackyLink service, why we collect it, and the choices you have.
2. Data we collect
Account data
When you create an account we collect your name, email address and password (stored as a salted hash). If you purchase a paid plan, our payment processor collects billing details; we never store full card numbers on our servers.
Monitoring configuration
The URLs, hostnames, ports and check settings you configure are stored so we can run your checks. Check results — response times, status codes and small response excerpts used for keyword matching — are retained according to your plan's log-retention period.
Usage data
We collect standard server logs (IP address, browser type, pages visited) to secure and improve the service. We use privacy-respecting, cookie-free analytics on our marketing site.
3. How we use your data
- To run your monitors and deliver alerts to the channels you configure
- To operate, secure and improve the service
- To bill you for paid plans
- To send transactional email (alerts, receipts, expiry reminders) — and product updates only if you opt in
We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use your monitoring data for advertising.
4. Sharing
We share data only with subprocessors that help us run the service (cloud hosting, email and SMS delivery, payment processing), each bound by data-processing agreements. We may disclose data if required by law.
5. Retention & deletion
Check logs are kept for your plan's retention window and then deleted. If you delete your account, we remove your personal data and monitoring configuration within 30 days, except where we must keep records for legal or accounting reasons.
6. Your rights
Depending on your jurisdiction (including under the GDPR and CCPA), you may request access to, correction of, export of, or deletion of your personal data. Email [email protected] and we will respond within 30 days.
7. International transfers
Our monitoring probes run in the regions listed on our site. Customer data is stored in the EU, and transfers outside the EU are protected by standard contractual clauses.
8. Changes
We will notify account holders by email of material changes to this policy at least 14 days before they take effect.
9. Contact
Questions about this policy: [email protected], or use our contact form.
